This SDG seeks to minimize ocean acidification to protect the health of the oceans and the life they harbor, crucial for food security, economic development and climate resilience.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐝𝐨?

  • Reduce CO2 emissions: The main cause of ocean acidification.
  • Strengthen scientific cooperation: Greater knowledge of the problem is needed.
  • Promote education and awareness: Informing the public is crucial.
  • Support appropriate policies: Get involved in promoting policies that encourage emission reductions, ocean protection and scientific research.

By taking individual and collective action, we can help minimize ocean acidification and build a more sustainable future for people and the planet.
